I saw a lot of Mini Moris, a few R5 even one fiat 500.

But no R4. I kept my eyes open all the time I was traveling with buses but no R4.

My sister wanted a car with more seatbelts for her next visit - the front only seat belts in Ermintrude will only accommodate one child and there's another one due. It seemed a lot easier just to buy a car that had more seatbelts.

I'll probably get bored of the thing but it's fun at the moment - goes around corners quite well and it's one of those eco diesel things with incredible mpg. Might also be a bit quieter on motorways than a R4.

She is a real sweetie but down on her luck and I will stand guarantor for rent, tidyness, cleaniness and godliness etc etc

Does anyone have a 1 or 2 bedroom place or know of anyone who has a place that they would be interested in renting out to her for a while?

South of England preferred but as Admiral Nelson said the night before the battle of Trafalgar..Any port in a Storm..

Long standing contributors to the forum may remember Commander Stanbury's dilemma - was his Renault Blue or Green?

Well, I now look after our chum (car not the Commander!), and in an effort to set the record straight, attach a recent photo. The bonnet originally came from Paulandpat's car in Normandy.

Derek at Renospeed is currently replacing the wings and spraying the front end. Incidentally, the original bonnet was fine until a New Year’s eve reveller treated the car as a vaulting horse ‘little …………’(fill in you own expletive!).

Commander – pop over when you are home and see what you think of the result. All ready for the Fiftieth. And for any banker or celeb who has £20K to burn! :hug:

PS Does anyone have an oval speaker that fits in the GTL’s Centre consol?

Given my lack of the Czech language, their postal system and an email filter that thought my commercial enquiries to the parts supplier were "spam" it is testament to the persistence of Pavel that this minor miracle occured at all.
The price at Euro 70 each delivered to my door was very good and the quality is fine.

So cheers to Pavel, and also to Malcolm who runs such a worthy site. Without this forum and the Internet my project could not happen.
