Hi again,
We saw this one a couple of hours away from our base.
Advertised as Renault 4 Sport ??
Looks a bit mean and low, but the performance is typical of other "standard" 1108s that I've driven.
Reliability will be tested next Tuesday on route to our ferryport in northern Spain.

The above car came to me as a "safety net".

I had a Portuguese speaker to ask a seller at Mertola if his car was in outstanding condition.
Three times she posed the question, and was assured ..... very very good. No oxidation.
True, when We met at Alcoutim, the car was rust free.
But seriously scruffy and marked. Advertised with 112,000 km. I opened the drivers door ..... 212,*** on the clock. His excuse ..... someone had listed the ad for him .... Yeah, and taken the photos two years earlier !!
No worries, just down the road was the above little black and white darling, and not a bad paint job,
