Hi All,
We are having our annual meet up on the Mayday bankholiday weekend and I am looking at venues for this. I will post more details once I have confirmation so put the date in your diaries!

Look forward to seeing you all.

Becky, Del and the Pests

That's great Becky, looking forward to it. Regards to you all, Brian.
PS, as long as they have a tea room, and there's cake involved!

I will do my best for the best in tea and buns, but you could always keep a marmalade sandwich under your hat, in case of emergencies!

I shall be camping too, but bringing extra blankets this time, as last time I camped in Kent in May I nearly suffered from hypothermia, and that was later in the month, oh and I'll pack some marmalade sandwiches too Becky.

20141226_140358.jpg Sadly can't make as wife booked holiday to turkey that week and I forgot to allow for the Kent run
Was hoping this might of been working by then

Hi All,
I have a venue! We will be meeting at Lullingstone Castle near Eynsford. This is just off the A20 near M25 junction. I will be visiting in the Spring to finalise the details and will post more then.

Becky

I was hoping to bring my Rodeo down (if it is nice and warn and isn't raining) but it's nowhere near ready yet and I've just got another job. The Rodeo-fest with Mr-Reno might have to wait until next year.

I'll be there but I don't know with which ancient Renault.

This is not far from me, it's unlikely I'll have a roadworthy R4 by then but I'll bring along the R5 Extra if imposters are allowed

By all means come along. You never know, you might find the R4 you are looking for, if you haven't already found it.:drunk:

Just down the road from myself, will pop along but my own 4 is still in the garage( has been for the 10 year) unfortunately

I've cleared my diary to make this event - are there any more details re timings / where to meet etc? Thanks, Michael

I am going over tomorrow to sort out the details, but we are meeting at Lullingstone Castle from 12pm ( not having a run this year). I will post more once I have visited.

First, The Directions!

We are parking within the grounds so please follow these directions, not the official signing for Lullingstone Castle as this will take you to external car park.

From Junction 3 of M25 follow signs for Brands Hatch on to A20. Take Eynsford turning and follow brown tourist signs for Lullingstone Roman Villa, turning right in the village and take bridge over River Darent ( or through the ford if you are brave). Keep following signs until you reach the Roman Villa. Go straight on at the museum ( do not take left fork) on to Private Road signed for Lullingstone Castle. Turn in at Gatehouse.

Second, Other Info!

Arrival no earlier then 11am, but 12pm is preferred.I am hoping to get there by 11.30 at the latest to guide you in. We will by parking along the hedge to the left of the gatehouse and to the right of the church. Please turn on to the grass by the gatehouse to protect the verges. There is a church service between 11 and 12, so keeping things quiet would be appreciated.

There is a small marquee providing teas and light refreshments, picnics are welcome.

For those of us escorting the younger enthusiasts please be aware that there is a lake in front of the castle and no barriers, so vigilance is required.

For those of us escorting the older enthusiasts please be aware that there is a lake in front of the castle and no barriers, so vigilance is required.

I visited this morning in the sunshine and it a very beautiful place, so fingers crossed.

See you in a couple of weeks!

Becky
