Can anyone recommend a good glue for sticking the window catches back on.

I could well be wrong but as I recall (mine are packed away) they have the appearance of being glued but in fact are bolted through the glass ?

My GTL rear windows def not bolted on.

It varies between model year. Later ones are glued. Avoid stiff glues like superglue as they can crack the glass. Best glue is car rear view mirror glue as it is soft and sets quickly. Arayldite works but is slow to set so the catch needs to be well held for several hours.

Araldite holds mine on for a while but always seems to fail eventually.

Used epoxy 2-pack glue, the one that comes in a twin syringe.
It works, nothing is ethernal.

Used rear view mirror adhesive for bonding metal and glass



But as you constantly pulling that knob it is very likely that knob will fall of again
