What glue for window locks?

hi,
i need to glue al my window locks back onto the glass.
has anyone done this and can save me the hassle of delving deep into 3M's catalogue or similar.

or can anyone tell me what king of plastic they are at least? then i can find glue fairly easily should think.

No brand name sorry,but use any glue specific for inner-rearwiev mirrors.
First religiously clean both surfaces to be glued,then apply as per instructions
Best (by far) is glue that involves an activator

There's been quite a bit of discussion about glue for window catches recently; for example, see www.renault4.co.uk/forum/threads/window-catches-failing.7968/. Note that where the catch meets the window, the catch is metal (not plastic).
