Just passed through Fredericia a few weeks ago heading for Copenhagen then Sweden!

I'm just back from Sweden where I collected my 1966 Volvo Amazon and drove back home to France, where I also have a late 80s Quatrelle. In Sweden I was advised by old-car collectors to use the 98/E5 fuel as it should be okay! Who really knows, onlt time will tell, I reckon.

Nice find. I had one many years ago, bought 'as new' with 3000 on the clock. It was typically reliable and cheap to run. I sold it on some years later with 110000 under its belt!

I know a Renault dealareship here in SW France that has a yard like this. Sadly, the owner refuses to sell any complete cars but has, after constant nagging, agreed to sell parts to me, especially a set of seats which I badly need.

Thanks for this thread. Encouraging stuff. My old dear is about to lose its body. One chassis attachment bolt (the middle rear by boot floor beginning) is proving immovable and I'll have to cut it out/off. Then ready to raise body and see what horrors await.

I tried this a while ago and they simply don't fit. Runners etc., different, also seat height, esp with headrests etc. I gave up and refitted my ropey old, uncomfortable originals.
