    Inlet manifold for my 1983 4GTL

    I'm thinking of putting a 90degree elbow with flanges onto my inlet manifold and fitting an SU carb from a mini , has anyone done this? I would also like to get an old manifold and braze flanges on for twin su's; if anybody has one to sell/throw away please let me know.

    tank removal

    I followed all instructions re taking tank out, but..... The bolt under the seat was about 20mm long which I removed, but the bolt/ stud I had taken the 11mm nut off underneath was still in place!! Tried to remove stud with 2 nuts locking together but no luck. Therefore tank will not drop down...

    Merci beaucoup Monsieur Le Dazzler et Tu, Jonigel, that was the quickest fix ever, all lights working. Headlight reflectors are rusty and peeling so shall replace these in due course. Once again, many thanks.
