1980 Renault 4TL headlamp relay

Good morning from sunny West Wales,

M.O.T on the Renault 4 next week. Headlights not answering to dipper stalk. I disconnected both the lamps when tackling the LHD to RHD conversion as instructed by Fredrick the Frog. [Brilliant money-saver] So I don't believe I've blown a fuse. I have not driven the car on the road. Collected with trailer, so can't say if they were working at point of purchase. [Yes, I should have checked - no excuse].
Please forgive my ignorance - where will I discover the fuses and headlamp relay?

There is no headlemp relay, and no fuse for both high and dipped beam on an '80 TL. So simple! :-D

Yes my friend. I tried the lights yesterday with the garage door closed and no garage light on. I guess my lack of familiarity was to blame when I first tried the headlights. Really good now,
