Hello all,

the camshaft bearing Renault 7700512850 is no more availible at Renault, even not on the common aftermarket. Does anybody know a supply source?

It's not listed in their web shop, but if you give them a call. They might be able to help. They have many things that are not listed.

Must be available from alpine specialists as the same block used on 1300 alpine A110

Merci at all. I'll try the dutch boys. Mecaparts offers a simmilar one but it's wrong. The alpinisti say things like "don't panic - it's easy to build a bearing yourself".

And if you still can't find a camshaft bearing (There is no aftermarket or NOS part) you'll have to get a donor engine just for that small part. No worries the B-block (or Billancourt or the sportier Ventoux) are made by the tens of millions and there are 27 million C-type engines produced so mustn't be that hard to find.
