Hello pals

This is engine in apparently very good condition
I don't know the model or cc maybe some of you can identify

The label says CIE G7 50
C144491
I'm guessing it's 1400???

C1E suggests its 1108cc.

It's a 1108cc engine from a Renault 5 super. This engine won't fit a Renault 4 without major surgery.
Either to the engine or the car. It won't give you any advantage power wise.

Designed for transverse application
Common parts to r4 1108 are
Pistons liners crankshaft con rods pushrods and rocker gear
Nothing else is same as in line version

Thanks Guys . The engine will no doubt appear on eBay by its current owner. Thought I'd flag it up in case anyone has a use for it
