When left for a few days car takes ages to start as it pumps up fuel. I guess it is draining back through fuel pump?
can i get rebuild kit or new pump? Advice welcome
Thanks

as it got carb-bowl right over the exhaust-manifold it's pretty normal that fuel evaporates as heat dissipates upwards.. Get one of those
hand-pumps (bubble) they use on outboard-motors and you'd be fine...
-unless you can actually see where fuel leaks out on to the ground of course... -Reid

We had a hand pump (priming bulb) fitted to make it easier to start after leaving the car for weeks at a time and it (and a new battery) did make a big difference.
