insurance recommendations?

Hi all
I introduced myself to the forum back in July hoping to become a fully-fledged member and owning a renault 4 and now I am!
I will soon be getting my own little 1980 Renault 4 GTL and I'm very excited!
I'm wondering if anyone can recommend an insurer they use who might specialise in renaults and breakdown cover(!)

Great news on your new car! Looking forward to photos :)

I suggest trying insurers like Adrian Flux, Peter James. Depending on your use (everyday commute or limited-mileage special occasions only!) you might be able to get more appropriate cover. You might also consider an agreed value with them.

Hi Linda, I use Adrian Flux classic car insurance, I don`t have breakdown cover with them but I`m sure they can arrange something. Where did you find your car? Is it RHD?

I have a multi-vehicle- classic policy, (Footman-James) which covers my everyday car and a minimum of 2 other classic's.
Every classic costs me £30 a year, no limit on numbers and it's about the price of a normal car policy!
This is a no brainer, for me, I always have at least 3 cars. Every time I add a car it's just £30 a year :-)
 
Oh..... And breakdown cover is included and many other things, it's a great policy.
