Can someone tell me the diameter of the rigid brake pipes please? The car lives in France and I want to get some copper pipe to take over. Are the threads of the fittings same as UK?

Fittings are the same although I can’t remember the sizes - BUT! I do know the brake master cylinder may have different size terminals. So carefully check threaded pipe ends fit snugly

Be aware pre 76 cars use imperiAl threaded fitting 3/8 unf
Later dual circuit cars are metric unions 10 and 12mm on 4 pipe master cylinder
    10mm on 3 pipes
Canto remember what is used on joiners used on some cars front to rear

Note all pipes to hoses cylinder remain unf thread all cars whatever year
