R5 gearbox

Hi all.
Can anyone help. I need a R5 mk1 5 speed gearbox. My Rf6 1397 has a poorly one. The round identity disc on the cover has - HA1 003.
I have searched breakers in England and Le bon coin (loads of gearboxes just not the right one) to no avail.

I would like help you.
Here in Spain it's simple found the gearbox.
But I will explain you what I know.
If your F6 has the original gearbox it's the most short box. The final speed is about 130 4500-5000rpm. It's a good box if you don't wanna go fast but with enough power.
The box of R5 GTL 5 speed has the same final speed than the ordinary R4 TL o GTL. The difference is just one more speed.
The box of R5 tx is 1000rpm-31,2kmh
The box of R5 ts is 1000rpm-27,4kmh
Both box R5 5speeds.


TX
25,2 km/h. a 1.000 r.p.m. en 4ª., 31,2 km/h. a 1.000 r.p.m. en 5ª.

max speed
km/h (en 4ª. a 6.005 r.p.m.) 151,26
km/h (en 5ª. a 4.825 r.p.m.) 150,63

TS
km/h a 1000 r.p.m en 4ª
velocidad máxima 150 km/h aprox

in the end if you want more final speed i advice you the gearbox of a ordinary R4. It's the most balance box.

Aldo it is more of "cosmetic" update on R4 I would very much like to put one HA1-01 in my R4 to experience it on the road!

i think the positive benefits of a 5 speed gearbox it's have too a 1400 engine. or vitaminated.
In any case it's better have 5.
It's more cool say... Hey you have you seen me 5 speed gearbox in me R4??
That is just a joke
I've drove a r4 with a 1108 and 5 speeds and it moves very good.
I don't know if were a Tx or Ts box.

Just got back from a trip to Italy and seen your posting.
Sorry to hear it is not an easily solved problem.

The 03 box was Spanish only pretty useless for economical cruising so forget about that option
02 best box in my opinion
01 is same as 4 speed once you are cruising
 
Many thanks to Malcolm for your restoration tips on your R5 gearbox forum.
Your supplied box is now fitted and my F6 is fully repaired and running smoothly again.
