Smoke at startup (845cc)

Hi

I have to ask: Can it be considered normal for an 845 cc R4 to smoke a bit (white smoke/smells of burnt oil) at startup, after a few days of sitting?
It doesnt use oil (noticeably). It seems to be getting worse slowly.

It doesn't smoke at any other instances.

Quite normal for an old engine to have white smoke on choke mostly it is condensation goes away when engine is hot.
Burning oil produces blue smoke, too rich black smoke.

Thanks I knew about the different smoke colours/types, but it was just the apparent increase in amount and then the smell that made me wonder

Not losing any coolant by chance as that produces white smoke/steam ☺

I did yeah. Then I vented the system, and it cured that part
