Steering column bush/bearing

Hi all,
what is the best lubricant to use on the steering column top bush/bearing? I assume there is a roller bearing plus a rubber bush, do you need to use anything special to not damage the rubber?

Hi Piet, no bearings in there, just a bush. My steering made a squeaking noise when I turned the steering wheel. I used a silicon spray and it loosened up the steering and the squeak disappeared.
Silicon is quite safe for use on rubber

This part is nla but there is a roller bearing replacement available originally listed for older renault models 21 25 etc with pas
