steering rack lubrication ?

Hi Chaps, having just changed the steering rack gaiters on my GTL was wondering if anybody knows if it should be lubricated and if so what should be used ???

Take off the cap above the pinion (two hex bolts), remove the washer, spring and plug and then put grease into the resulting hole by hand (squeeze it in). Worth doing every so often because these things do wear if they run dry. Ensure when you're reassembling that the pinion hasn't moved relative to the rack otherwise the steering wheel won't be aligned correctly (i.e. horizontal spoke when straight ahead).

I use moly lithium drive shaft grease
