Switches

Hi, Kindly help me find out what the switches 1,2,3,4 in the attached diagram are for. My dash came with all the switches missing and I am hoping to replace them all.

Hi Brian
Here's a photo of the switches on my car, a 1980 GTL. It's a left hand drive, so the number 1 switch in your photo is on the left hand side in my photo.
No 1 is a manual plunger for the windscreen washing liquid.
No 2 is the on/off switch for the wipers
No 3 distress signal
No 4 is the handbrake light (I think) It's never worked on my car, I suppose I should fix it but its never bothered me.

I was told that NO4 is safety light that goes on when brake fluid level is to low.
But never had TL model so can not tell you is this info right.
