So my task list...

Completed so far


Initial clean up
Replaced door locks
Replaced Fan heater switch
Door seals, Boot seals, removed and replaced with new ones
Removed exhaust and replaced with new one end to end plus new manifold
Replace some electrical terminals under bonnet

Changed spark plugs
Changed Airbox
Changed fuel filter
Changed gear selector rubbers
Changed Oil filler cap
Got new ignition key cut
Changed oil, filter and sump plug
Repair handbrake cable light and wire
Fitted new dashboard illumination bulbs
Door handle gaskets replaced
Carb cleaned
Timing done
Under sealed the underside
Replace points, rotor arm and condenser
Replaced tie rod ends and re tracked
Replaced tyre

Still to do...
Fit new Electronic Ignition and re check timing (October)
Replace anti roll bar bushes, trashed by oil leak (I have the parts ready, need to do soon ready for the MOT in Jan 2018)
Remove gearbox and replace oil seal (got it ready - a winter job)
Order new clutch and bearing (got it ready - a winter job)
Fix the interior light as not working

Re furb all road wheels sometime in the future, I have a quote for £200 to to the lot in a day (Spring 2018)
Tcut and Polish (to do)
Install temp gauge. Got the bits ready
Respray the inside of the drivers door, as much as like the rough look I would like it shiny
Repair the passenger door and respray as it's got a couple of dents that I don't like, just need to order the Savane sticker kit before I do this (2018 when it warms up)
Fit a radio or Bluetooth device maybe....

Accuspark Electonic Ignition fitted :-) took me about 50 mins, thats just me making sure I have it right.. All installed and car fired first time, adjusted the timing and off out in a mo to test it .. only issue, Accuspark kindly crimp to new ring terminals to the wires, nice ! but they won't fit the through the disi hole so needed to cut them off and locate two more, put on a temp pair that I will replace shortly with the right size and colour. Other messy bits the heat sink paste - beware it gets everywhere.. test fit first then spread the gunk on would be my advise. So I shall report back after a test drive :-) and yes I have kept all the old bits in a bag that I will leave in the car with my small tool kit! just in case they decide to fail.
