Yes and pretty soon as I have this evening bought a Cabanon Venus trailer tent. I have the dimensioned drawings to make one and if I cannot locate one, I'll make one.
In the U.K. tow bars are not part of our MoT test. The only way we could fall foul of the law would be during a roadside check.
I have a 1986 Conway Camargue Trailer Tent and our '87 GTL pulls it no problem, save for slowing a bit on the hills. But who runs a Quatrelle for speed or rushing around?!Well I have just bought a Cabanon Venus trailer tent, a two-berth flyweight TT, so towing her should be fine. This looks pretty much like the tow-hitch fitted to my 1987 GTL, a French registered car with what seems to be an original hitch assembly. Here's something that you can scratch your head about.
It's an advert that I saw on LeBonCoin last night.
It's a Renault tow bar and it's for an R4. But I don't know what "pds" means or if the "520" is Kgs or pounds (lbs)
I also don't know if it means that the tow bar has a limit of 520pds (before it breaks) or if the car itself can only tow 520pds
I'll leave it to you to work out
