I am trying to remove the remains of the rear wheel bearing but the brake shoes are in the way. I have a very good simple step by step guide but????? every where I look they info says that the set up is either Girling or bendix and they offer a solution, what and how do I remove these safely?
Any advice will be gratefully received
Thanks for reading and any advice
Paulf

Just pull the springs back with a pair of mole grips and the shoes fall off, tape up the wheel cylinder to stop the pistons comeing out.
goes back the same way.I would check the seals as well on the cylinder to see if they are weeping.

Thanks for that I, ll give that a go
