Just back from a trip to SW France to collect a rear axle for the F6. The GTL didn't miss a beat in 2200 miles, and, at D-road speeds, consistently did just over 60mpg - pretty good for a 32-year old car!

I must've seen a couple of dozen on the road (all, encouragingly, everyday cars), as well as a few in gardens and fields.

That's the west coast of Ireland. The 'Wild Atlantic Way' is one of Europe's great drives, and the Irish love R4s - and chatting about them - as much as the French do.

Excellent - I have been along part of it when we went up to Easkey surfing travelling up from Dingal - stunning - this look to be a bit more remote further out west? Must take our R4 out there for an adventure : )

Love it, great places to see and people are so nice , 2 pals and i used to go every year back in the eighties. The Ring of Kerry beutiful, we used to stay in youth hostels , one in Dingle called The Rainbow, great place to stay. went round in a loop , in at wexford and then out Dublin , good times, all done in a 4, she never let us down
