Hello All

I have just joined the forum as unfortunately I need to dispose of my late father beloved Twingo “Twiggy”. I am not looking for any money, just someone who will give it a good home

Twiggy was first registered in 1997 and had since covered about 152,000km. It has a current MOT which runs out on 24th Feb 21. It has not covered much mileage in the last year due to my dads illness. He last started it in October and it required the battery to be jumped. I tried it at the weekend and it is dead. I am assuming it will start again with a jump and is road worthy so can be driven home

I have attached some pictures. Any questions please ask and I will try to answer them

Hello Alex,

Sorry to hear about your father but Twiggy looks lovely (and I always wanted a green one!) If it hasn't already gone then I'd be happy to bring it back to my house of old Renaults. I'll give you a call in the morning, not entirely sure how to collect given the current lockdown but I'm sure there's a way someway or other :)

Thanks, David

If anything changes I would also be willing to give it a good home and join my Renault 4. I can arrange for it to be collected.

Lovely car and fun sunroof! Hope she will find soon a nice home!

Sorry to hear about your father Alex. I had the same situation a few years ago: my dad left a 1972 Citroën DS & a couple of other classics.

I realise that I'm third in the queue but if it doesn't work out for the other interested parties, please let me know. I have access to a trailer, so even if it won't start for any reason, collection wouldn't be a problem.
Thanks
Daras

Aaaand home :)

Only seen it in the dark but a quick look looks pretty good. This weekend we’ll see about getting it running and cleaned up. Pictures, obviously, will follow!

Our condolences Alex, on the loss of your dad. It comes to us all. Please allow me to add that you can take some consolation from the fact that the lovely Twingo has gone to a genuine enthusiast and respected Forum member.
P711 GOM will make people smile wherever she goes,
Neil
