Hello Andy Hello Andy...It seems like I have been missled by random measurements taken in the half light by harassed husband.Do you still have your grease caps ? and are you willing to part with them ?If they really are 44mm outside measurement then I would be happy to talk money. Many thanks Jac

Thanks for your help ! The car had a complete rebuild before we bought it and we are still finding interesting things about it ! The old caps are bent and not really fit for purpose .I think perhaps one to many removals.I am a little concerned that they are going to drop off

I ordered from derfranzose and when they arrived they are too small.....I need 52mm outside measurement ! is this normal ? Andy what size were yours ? Does it make a difference if its a GTL ? Sorry for my ignorance.

I know it was a while ago but thanks for the info. I returned the solex 32 SEIA and got a brand new Zenith 28IF from the carburettor hospital .He was really helpful after our initial hiccup ! Sorted and working well. Thanks.

Help ! we have a 4GTL 1985 it is in need of a new carburettor...we have checked the jets and fuel intake all good . We fitted electronic ignition so its not that, it idles well and it is only when asked for power that it seems to drop out .I have been told that it s to do with the spindle...

Are all Renault people as lovely as the ones we have met in our search for a Renault ? It has been such a pleasure....we have seen lovely countryside and spectacular views , have been given so much help and advice, it is unbelievable and consideration beyond every expectation ! I am almost sad...
