Got a hold of a better light control unit. Interestingly, several of the ones I looked at were melted in exactly the same spot my old one was. Every one including my new used one has a waxy gunky residue in it. What is best to clean them up with?

Ducellier regulator and Ducellier generator. Regulator has DYN and Bat at the bottom. EXC at the top. I think I have it right. I revved up engine and voltage went up to 13 at battery. So it must be charging. ( I hope) has anyone converted to an alternator from a later model?

This is rotten in my car. Left and right. Can't even open right window. Can someone tell what this part is called and where I can buy? It looks like the original was textile and metal maybe rubber. So rotten its hard to tell for me. Any advice is welcome! Thanks

Door cards or panels.. anyways finally got the previous owners old wood ones off which ended up being quite a job. Old insulation was under too. My question is can any years model door panel fit my door? I like the more modern r4's door panels/colors over the older. Were they all the same size...
