1978 r4 bits i could do with

Go easy on me, just bought my first ever R4.
My dream car and I love it.
There are a couple of things that would help if anybody has them lying about.
Front grille as mine is a little damaged
And passenger side window slide knob (cream).
Here is the car fyi
Or suggestions as to the best place to buy.
I have seen a few dealers in France but shipping is toppy

Is your grille the black plastic one? And is the window knob the stick-on type?

If the window knob is a stick-on one I can recommend Araldite Crystal clear epoxy resin. 'Glass glue' (super-glue) failed.

Yes it is the black plastic one.
And the knob is a stick on one.
Here is other side of my car, on the plate I've peeled off the blue film. Not sure how long I'll get away with it. Hopefully I can baffle a copper with some French, and a Gaelic shrug

I think I might have a black grille somewhere (and probably a window knob). Will have a look tomorrow.

A true honest French cameleon I saw them a lot driving in France in the 80's and 90'with my R4 GTL.

I saw one in the dordogne last week in what I think is the same colour as yours, or was.
If I were to spray it, which I won't that would be the colour I'd have.

I've found the grille - it has a couple of cracks, plus the thin bit that goes around the adjustment lever on one side is broken. Pm me if interested (collection from Cheltenham).
