Free GTL Engine and Gearbox!

Well, not for free, but he has taken the effort to advertise it on eBay starting at 1 pence which is applaudable:

1986 1100cc Renault 4 GTL engine & gearbox. FREE!
Engine number: H598160 - Gearbox number: H7700598389
Removed a month ago because head gasket started to go; otherwise good running order. It just needs a new head gasket fitting. [inlet manifold & distributer have been removed]
I don't really want any money for it, i just can't bear to scrap it - although I'll have to sell to the highest bidder (if it comes to that).
You must collect from Innsworth in Gloucester, or I could deliver very locally for a small fee.

eBay.co.uk is worth a look around at the moment - a low mileage GTL and a van are being advertised just now.

I sold the guy a replacement engine and box for his GTL .This is worth buying as the gasket never fully went just started to put the coolant warning
light on after about 2 miles .
