Hi all

I’ve bought a couple of pairs of new brake pads.
Can anyone tell me the significance of:
1. The silver rivets on the pads
2. The two little wooden bungs

See photos

Cheers

Hi Sprackers

The two plastic 'bungs' are in fact brake warning light sensors for when the brake pad linings are worn. Those pads were also fitted to some of the R5s which had brake warning light cables routed to the pads, you would slot the sensors into the hole in the back of the pads and once fitted connect the cables to the back of the pads. Surplus to requirements for the R4!
