Mongolia Rally

I am trying to get hold of a Renault 4 to complete a charity rally from the UK to Mongolia next summer. It needs not be pretty, but relatively mechanically sound. Does anyone have any ideas where I might purchase one! I would be most greatful for any suggestions. Tel: 07834589034

I'm also keen to do a rally like that. I've been following the reports on their website: http://www.mongolrally.co.uk/ The Renault 4 would be perfect with it's high ground clearance, soft suspension and reliability. I think there is a R4 on the rally this year, but I've not been able to find out who it is or find their reports.

eBay.fr might also be a good place to look for left hand drive cars.

I was thinking of doing the 4L Trophy. It ain't not half easy to find sponsorship tho.

Then trying to get insurance for it...

Is the 4L Trophy the rally that started all these other ones? Or is it the rip off of sone other one. 4l trophy started in 1997

Bugger ! i have just started to break this GTL for spares and a few bits are missing now .If you can get a car [Spain is the best for good late cars with excellant mechanics and dented bodies] i am more then happy to provide you with spares back up before and during the event .
