Helped move some sound equipment round this weekend using the F6, at the end of festival was given 25 litres of marine petrol.( unmarked jerry filled from drum)
Anyone know if it would be OK in F6?
Naughty......! In the U.K.marine petrol does not cary excise duty, so is significantly cheaper than normal petrol. However, I should warn you that using it to run your car on a public road is illegal (at least in the U.K.) although chemically the fuel is exactly the same as ordinary petrol.
Thanks for reply Andrew,
So its not low octane high ethanol engine killer, has got a slight blue tint to it, add red lead replacement additive, who would of thought that going green would become illegal
Some of the colour additives can stain the engine/petrol tank interior. Especially the red fuel farmers use. Its done in part so Revenue can check if its being used in unauthorised vehicles.
