Rubber feet for roof rack

Hello all,
Our car came with a roof rack made of a rack screwed to two Thule roof bars. It had been clamped to the roof channels metal-to-metal, which I’m sure isn’t right.
It’s off the car at the moment; I’d like to re-use it but not without protecting my roof channels.
I’ve been online to see if Thule supply rubber covers but can’t immediately see the right thing. Just wondering if anyone has used this type of rack and could point me in the right direction.

Hi Simon-you could dip the parts in plastidip-a couple times should do it.Dip once and let cure
then repeat to have the stuff build up 'till you are satisfied
-this won't be a Permanent fix ,but will hold up good and it's easy to see when you need to renew.
Don't use the spray as this goes on Too thin.Use the stuff you Dip the part into..Reid.

I made some covers from bicycle inner tube.

made it by myself from 2 mm reinforced rubber.
Just cut out long enough peaces and put it under clamp
