Steering Wheel Retaining Nut

Hi. Does anyone know the thread size and pitch of the nut on the steering column that holds the steering wheel on? Many thanks, Paul

I did try a M14 x 1.5 dye on it but it seemed to be a different thread.

there is a tool called a thread restorer file which I have used b4

if needed I could post a spare nut if yours is not good enough to take to a good engineers tool suppliers to measure
