My car is a 1972 782 cc car. I have looked in the pretty comprehensive Franzose catalogue, and it shows 7 inline thermostats. There is an 83 deg thermostat for the 782cc car, but no higher temperature type. The 86 deg thermostats are for 745cc , 845cc , 956cc and for the 1108 cc engines, with no mention of the 1126 model or the 782 engine. I am advised on the forum that the 83 deg might be too low for the UK. Can anyone advise please. Thanks as ever.

Here are the relevant pages from the PR953 with the country codes. 600=GB; 100=France. Another PR900 I have gives 83 degrees for the R1126 - part number 7701348376. 20210322_105019.jpg20210322_105005.jpg

Andy. Thank you so much for looking that up and confirming what I need to get. thank you.
Great photo again. That looks so much like my car that I can't wait to get is up and running.

Since the R1126 was available only in "100" version (France), there were no thermostat options other than the standard one.
All thermostats are physically interchangeable so you can fit a "warmer" one if you wish.
