Wanted - LHD renault 4

I'm looking for a LHD renault 4! Am new to the R4s, saw one on ebay but missed out and then decided it is the one I want! IS needed for london to cameroon rally, so would ideally be under or close to 1.0 litre. Based in Ireland but willing to travel to collect, any suggestions welcome, by response or phone 00353 867310625

If it needs to be LHD and below 1L then the French made a 956cc version from 1982 ish to 1992. The later ones are called Savanne. They pop up occasionally in the UK. The other cars from the same era were 1108cc.

Or like BB which says its a 850 but someones replaced the engine with the 1108cc version!

Hi, are you still looking for a LHD R4? I have just saved one from the scrapper! It's still french registered and so I have no paperwork. It is a 1982 car with the 845cc engine. Runs OK but needs some work to get back on the road. Let me know if you are interested. dave.sullivan@dsl.pipex.com
