Did you know that most/all of our later right hand cars were built in Wexford, Ireland? Some sat in a field for rather a long time in the 1980s :roll:

Yeah I know about that. I remember seeing a field full of Renault 4s of all sorts of colours. They were assembled in Wexford for some years I think by the Smith Group. Infact I had a green 4TL that was built in Wexford which I bought new for £495 on the road and taxed for a year.

there are quite a few of the Irish Renault owners in the RCCC we have offered to support events but so far I am not aware of members getting together to share the enthusiasim.
