:smile:Hello all you good folks out there in Renault 4 land. We arrived home last night from our French trip, 1682 miles (2707km) of trouble free motoring, apart from a grumbling driveshaft, and praying it would get us home, it did. We stayed for the second week down at Loire Valley Classics, with Guy and Sarah Heath, they made us feel so welcome, a great place to stay. Anyway I've included one or two photos of other transport stuff we saw as I reckon Thenay is well covered already. Cheers Brian and Rita.

You shoot the photo at the map before I put the pin on my home's place... Southern Europe was truly not sufficiently represented...

Hi David. Yes Loheac is a super museum, just the scale model exhibition alone is quite something, a visit is highly recommended. That was the Le Mans museum, could have spent all day there.:D

Sorry about that Azazello, I took the picture on the Saturday I think. The Southwest of England wasn't represented to well either, just us and Tom Long. Perhaps next year a few more 4Ls might make the trip to Thenay from this part of the country.

Hi Tom, not sure who that is on the map then. It looks a bit north-east of Bath to me, Swindon maybe.

Good, thats three of us that were there from the west-country. Perhaps next year we could double that? :D

Nice pictures!

I very much like that roofrack !!!
Would definitely buy that !!!

Hi David, I liked that roof rack too, but the van is looking a bit sad isn't it. I reckon it needs rescuing from it's resting-place, but I daren't say where it is cos there could be one very angry French farmer chasing 4L enthusiasts off his land with a shot-gun! Wouldn't want to be held responsible for starting something nasty.
Glad you like the photos.

The pin below Uni was us, Judith decided that, that was where it must go and so she being a teacher and all I deferred to her superior knowledge, Beside which Swindons only 35 miles away as the crow flies ;)

Ah, that's that mystery solved then Richard. You know it makes sense to bow to superior knowledge, even when you know you are right. But I do see now it is a bit north of Swindon. Lovely part of the country you live in.
