Sorry the forum was down for a few hours this evening (Jan 24th). This was due to a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack.
You've probably come across trojan horses and worms etc. Those things are programmed to take over peoples' computers and use them to bombard web servers for important sites until they are overwhelmed and stop working.
Sites like Microsoft, Yahoo and eBay have all been brought down by DDoS attacks in the past. Turns out that the next in line of importance was the Renault Forum.
I think we should take this as a message of appreciation from the hackers to the Renault forum and everyone who posts here.
