Point's
Hollo, can any one help me. I was lent 1962---4 renault 4 by an expat in the south of france as he was returning back here for the winter, so i could have run about in the south of france.
I work three week and then return here for 7 to 10 day's.i need a set of point's as the spring on the points has broken.i feel responsible for the car and must try to repair it.the bulkhead plate
is as folows r1120 249320 other plate 5001000

There is a photo of the points in the old Haynes manual. I can only suggest that you check the make of the distributor and ask a very friendly local motor factor if they can help. Commercial Ignition list points from 1963 - either Ducellier or Femsa. The Haynes manual say that they could be SEV. Is your car a 700cc model?
