Just like to add some information on this site as it was very helpful in solving my car trouble.
Ok.....my wifes laguna estate started fine every morning and whilst driving along (when warm) the car just cut out and would not start for at least 30 minutes and then it would cut out again after a very short while.
Now the fix
Crank sencor/flywheel sensor is quite possible the problem.
