Feeling Dim!

I have two speed wipers on my R4GTL. The 'fast' speed is only very slightly quicker than the 'normal' speed. Interesting

It might help to lubricate the drive to the wipers. Failing that the motor itself may need a check-over and check the wiring; the "fast" power link might not be wired correctly. If memory serves it's one series wiring for normal and another series-fed 12 volt for fast speed. Were these feeds to be swapped the normal speed would be slightly quicker than normal (no pun intended!) and the the fast speed would not be as fast as it should be, thus making it seem only slightly quicker the the normal speed.

Thank you Andrew. I'm not sure I fully understood that but when I have time, I'll take a look at that and the wiring diagram.

Hmm ive realised where my 'missing' posts went..... Thought I was posting on my thread.:ashamed:
Paul N - My two speed wiper is definitely a lot faster so maybe yours does need some lubrication

Continued in my 'What I am doing' thread :scared:.
