Front suspension dismantling advice

Hi,
Car is split and engine is out.
I'm hoping to repair a few spots and repaint my chassis but I want to leave the torsion bars in place. I just wanted to check if its ok to remove everything except for the lower wishbone, the vertical piece the wishbones connect to and the torsion bar from the front suspension?
Ill need to replace most ball joints and shocks anyway so want to strip as much as possible to make repairs and painting simple but dont want to have to deal with the torsion bars.
I have haynes and it seems this should be fine. Just wanted to be sure.
Any tips about things to look out for that I may have overlooked would be great.
Thanks
Nick

There is no broblem to do ball joints and top wish bone .Just leave lower arm and vertical piller .
