Hi All
I have some old R4 Head lamps and the lens’s are fine and I intend to fit replacement bowls from franzose.
Here is the old bulb holder.
Not H4, any info on the bulb size please?
Kind Regards
Ian.

It's the fitting of most French (& other European) cars of the mid sixties to mid eighties: P45t
The other type that became popular since the eighties when more cars had halogen bulbs for dip & main headlights, was P43t (also referred to as H4, the H being for halogen).
Halogen bulbs are also available for the P45t fittings, in various wattage ratings. (I have most available on my website).
If you need replacements for the ring/fitting in your photo, I've got a few good secondhand P45t ones in stock, from 2cvs: I'm pretty sure they'll fit but I can check first, as I have a spare pair of R4 headlights handy.

Hi.
Thanks for all that.
I now have a Belgium R4F4 which will need two new lamps( or I could cut new locating notches and turn the bulbs).
But I am interested in your lamps, save me posting with Franzose.
Are yours new and the concave type?
Travel to Conway a lot so could pick up.
Please can I have the price
Thanks for your time.
Kind Regards
Ian. (Ribchester)
