I must confess that I am reading this forum for some time now but never tried to register.

Now it is time to know all of you little bit better.

I am coming from Croatia, costal town named Vodice, and driving a 1992 GTL from Slovenia. One of the last that were made in Revoz (name of the factory)

It was bought by my uncle like a work car for his vineyard. A got it (very cheap) back in 2006.

Thanks for posting the photos of your car. It looks in pretty good condition :)
We have a 1990 R4 imported from Slovenia - it would have been made in the same factory as yours!

From the outside it looks very good but the chassis is ill.
Rust has begone hers party.

Oh dear, it is a bit rusty!

Looks like you are going to fix the chassis?

Good luck with getting all your four back together!

I reckon that MTB on the back must be worth more than four tho!

(only coming from someone who has three MTB's worth more than his four) ;)
 
Well………. it is something like that. Bike is worth more than a R4

This is MTB only for long rides around country side (cca 100km), and marathon races (cca 40-50km).

In garage there are two more that I am using.

Yes I thought it was a nice bike on the back!

I've got a Trek Liquid 25 for my downhill play bike, a Dialled Bikes Prince Albert as a Hard tail geared do it all bike and a Gary Fisher Rig 29"er Singlespeed for dossing around on.

Welcome on the forum petak. Pretty bad chassis. How much km has this R4 already done?
My R4 is also made in Slovenia it also an 92 model :)

Nice bikes.
We should make a bike tread. As I'm modifying my bike in more than my R4.

My bike is 10 years old, as much as I did on it, it's now fully custom. Awaiting new rear hub. Should arrive next week.

Mine leaves factory in October 1992, and in January 1993 factory started to manufacture CLIO phI

R4 made 173228 km when this transformation process began.
It is not much, but not so little.
Mechanically it is in perfect condition (it still has first clutch), but as you can see body need some intervention.;)

As we speak about bikes I also have a GT BACKWOOD from 1996 (my first real bike) which suffered many changes so the only thing left from original bike is frame. Now it is used for going on drink's :cool:

Mine has the first date of registry 3/2010, so it's older.
And it has only 70 000km.

Your's body work is pretty bad. For you climate. You don't have that much snow, if you have any :)

Mine had a similar but smaller hole on on side like yours, but my neighbor took care for it.

I've got only one bike and the R4 because I'm still a student. someday I'm gonna buy also an street bike. The R4 I'll probably will have for 3-4 years. After that I'm gonna buy a new one. I'm not sure if I'm gonna have a R4 as a second car or sell it.



By the way have you seen prices of the R4 in england and other north countries. In our country these cars are still treater as working animals.
 
Since I took it, car was used inside of Croatia (town named SISAK) and snow is there very common and it has it a lot so I thing that condition is actually pretty good.

Aldo, last winter we, had snow also, two times for three-four days.

I can not imagine that in Croatia or Slovenia there are R4 whose owner is treating it like an old-timer (or at least youngtimer).
Actually I know 4 or 5 people in Croatia and 2 in Slovenia who are trying to make R4 weekend car for pleasurable driving throw countryside
 
Well we know at least one R4 from Slovenia that is qualified as old-timer don't we? :)
