How to remove the rear side window?

Hi R4 friends,

before I destroy whatever, can you advise, how to remove the rear side windows, without damage the glass or the rubber seal?

Did you try it ever? Especially I dislike the screwdriver...

Hi,
its not too bad to do.

Step 1:
Loosen the seal: Using your fingers or carefully with a screw driver lift the seal up on the inside of the car to make sure its free and loose.

Step 2:
Carefully start to prise the seal down while pressing the window out. I seem to think it was easiest to start at the top.

Step 3:
Catch the window before it falls out on the floor and breaks !

Anyone else got a better description ?

Easy!

Pull the inside seal down with a screwdriver. Insert the shank of a pop rivet at 90 degrees in between the rubber and the frame. Repeat every 1 1/2". Put the palm of one hand on the glass and gently tap the glass inside with the other hand. The glass and rubber will soon be released.

Should take 5 minutes if you're slow!

I've done for the rear doors windows, to swap the fixed ones with the opening ones from a scrapyard donor...
