Hi all i'm new to this forum & i'm hoping there's help out there.
For over 12 months now I have been suffering with the dreaded Limp home mode. Diagnostics keep saying throttle problem? so it gets a new one, then it re appears, Limp mode. Surely there's someone out there with a Laguna 1.8 16 valve Dimonique petrol on a 51 plate who is suffering the same problem. Head office at Renault say there is no records of problems with this model.
All help will be most appreciated.

Hello, this post moved to 'Other Renaults' where it belongs. This section is for all Renaults other than the Renault 4.

I don't have a Laguna, but my guess is that your problem could be caused by a sensor associated with the throttle. Does it have a sensor telling the computer what the throttle position is? It could even be a loose connection causing intermittent loss of data, resulting in an emergency operating mode of the computer.
