R4 GTL wheels for 4GTL buggy

My little buggy would also like some nice wheels and an original steering wheel. I'd like alloy wheels because the original steel wheels aren't good and I think I could get away with it as this isn't a true "classic"! Can anyone help please? Steve.

There are 3 choices of alloy wheel I can think of - all of them come from Mk1 Renault 5s.

Worth a search in Google images or similar for the Renault 5 Alpine or Gordini, the turbo version of the same, and the Renault 5 TX to see which you like.

The Alpine and Alpine turbo wheels are fairly readily available and a reasonable set might be around £100. Try to get the wheel nuts too - they are specific to Renaults and different from the ones you have.
