Hi speedo19. Haven't got a clue,but to enlighten your day(!) they had lots of problems with blinkers in Sweden lately.
Seems ALL cars are effected by an intermittent fault.
when Mot-checked sideblinkers were reported to
'now it's working'... 'Now it's Not'..'Now its working'..NO-out again...
Have you checked the bulb?? The Socket for bulb?? Live (+)wire
from gearbox? Ground at rear-lamp?? i.e:Start with the obvious!

The fault is usually the Switch which is in the L/H side of the gearbox around the drive shaft area, If you can get the wiring plug off the end you can put a small bit of wire between the terminals (don't let the wire touch anything)then turn on the ignition and if the lights come on you need a switch, If your not confident Please get a mechanic to look.
