RHD Headlamp Adjustment for Europe

We are heading off to France for Thenay and need to 'black tape' the original RHD headlamp beam for use in France.

Does anyone have a diagram of how we go about doing this please ?

I doubt the Halfords H4 type kit will work ?

Thanks but that article is how to convert LHD to RHD. We have RHD headlamps and want to mask them for use in France - will take a look at the Halfords kit.

You should have the option of LHD or RHD on your headlights. Simply remove the bulb, slide the small plastic adaptor block to the left and refit the bulb. You should now have the lights set up for LHD. Simples.:smile: This is for the GTL, older cars might be different.

to convert UK headlights (RHD) to French headlights (LHD) you would just need to make the notch to the right of your existing notch, i.e. rotate the bulb in the opposite direction.
