Steering box

My mechanic said it is the next thing to change.
I had a look and find, on oscaro, various kind of steering box, at different prices.

There is some quality difference that makes one kind different from another, justifying the prices' differences?
I went to the car-shops near my town, prices for regenerated boxes are between 70 and 100 euros, giving my old one in exchange. Should I ask for a specific one or just buy the cheapest?
Also, there is some other piece to change taken the occasion? Or just the box if anything is wrong?

Why do you have to replace it? If it does have play on passenger's side (most likely) it can be repaired cheaply and easily.

I do not know... mechanic said it has play (I do not know where) and that we must change it... Maybe he is a bit idle and thinks it is easier to change the whole piece?
I ordered the steering box yesterday, it will arrive tomorrow or monday...
I convinced my father's friend to proceed with me, so maybe I will learn something new...
