Suddenly No indicators!

Took the 4l out yesterday and there were no indicators, no hazards either.
The switch is in with the lights on left hand stalk. (93 TL last of this marque model, same one piece switch unit as R5 ).
Have got the flasher unit off and switch out but have nothing to test against.
Would appreciate any further steps to isolate the problem.
Been working fine up to this! Oh, changed the fuse for new one, old one OK too.
Thanks Heavyhorseman

lost indicators

I found it, cleaned all earths as recommended then eventually the last thing to check was the hazard switch.

So if anyone has a hazard switch, I need to replace it.

Could still be the fuse box. Check you have 12 volts across the correct fuse ie 12v going in and 12v coming out the other side( look at the back of the cover for the fuse number).
